Betway has increased its global tennis footprint by becoming a sponsor of the Rio Open. This tournament sponsorship provides Betway with prime advertising placement on the court and around the venue. Additionally, they will develop unique content for tennis enthusiasts, disseminated through the tournament’s social media platforms and online channels.

Marcia Casz, the Rio Open director, conveyed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, remarking that they are delighted to welcome a prominent brand like Betway. She sees this as evidence of the tournament’s triumph as the premier tennis competition in Latin America.

The Rio Open, hosted at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro, is a relatively recent tournament, established in 2014. Despite its youth, it has drawn some of tennis’s most prominent figures, including Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, and Dominic Thiem. It stands as the sole ATP 500 event in South America and the only ATP Tour event in Brazil.

This sponsorship agreement represents the latest in a string of tennis-focused collaborations for Betway, as they also recently secured the official betting partner designation for the Stockholm Open. This highlights Betway’s dedication to promoting tennis across all tiers and connecting with fans globally.

Betways Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Werkman, expressed enthusiasm for the organization’s latest collaboration. He remarked, “Securing the title sponsorship of the Rio Open, Brazil’s largest and most esteemed tennis competition, presents a remarkable chance for Betway and enhances our already noteworthy tennis partnerships. This event consistently draws top-ranked players globally, and aligning with it marks another significant milestone for the Betway brand.”
