Caesars Entertainment recently published its 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, signifying the 14th consecutive year of this publication. This document emphasizes the remarkable advancements Caesars achieved in five crucial domains in 2022: environmental stewardship, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee educational prospects, workforce well-being, and community involvement.
A primary area of concentration for Caesars is environmental sustainability, where they are diligently striving to minimize waste, preserve water resources, and diminish their carbon footprint. Their ambitious objective? To attain net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. And they are already demonstrating substantial progress! In 2022 alone, they successfully reduced their water consumption by a significant 14% compared to their 2019 levels.
Caesars is also firmly dedicated to cultivating a diverse and inclusive work environment. They aspire to reach equitable gender and racial representation in management positions by 2025. And they are well on their path! From 2020 to 2022, they witnessed a remarkable 106% surge in the representation of individuals from diverse racial backgrounds in senior leadership roles.
Acknowledging the significance of education, Caesars introduced an exceptional new employee education assistance initiative in July 2022 called “Don’t Miss Your Shot – Full Ride Education.” This program provides a wide array of advantages for employees, including financial aid for tuition, college savings programs, scholarship possibilities, debt reduction alternatives, and access to budget-friendly educational resources.
The program has been met with tremendous success! Since its inception, nearly 30% of Caesars’ employees have already utilized the company’s educational platform. Twenty-two employees were granted scholarships amounting to $20,000 each, and an impressive 400 employees received a combined total of $1 million in funds dedicated to alleviating tuition debt.
In the year 2022, Kaiser Permanente allocated a substantial $81 million to bolster the neighborhoods it supports. This remarkable investment encompasses a significant $65 million in philanthropic contributions, $3.5 million from the Kaiser Permanente Foundation, $1.6 million in non-monetary gifts, and an admirable $2.4 million equivalent in volunteer time contributed by their committed staff.
Moreover, Kaiser Permanente introduced two fresh programs centered on staff health and protection, showcasing their dedication to their employees. They have also been diligently improving healthcare provisions and enacting new safety measures to cultivate an even more secure workplace.
