Regulatory compliance firm, ComplianceOne Group, specializing in the online gaming sector, has become a member of the Netherlands Online Gambling Association (NOGA). This strategic decision coincides with ComplianceOne’s expansion efforts within the rapidly developing Dutch iGaming market.

ComplianceOne enters a distinguished assembly of NOGA members, encompassing industry leaders such as Flutter (parent company of PokerStars and FanDuel), Entain (overseeing Ladbrokes and Coral), Kindred Group (Unibet), and bet365. NOGA holds a pivotal role in championing a balanced and secure online gambling environment within the Netherlands, representing the interests of licensed providers and nurturing cooperation among involved parties.

Mike de Graaff, leading Regulatory Services & Assurance at ComplianceOne, underscored the importance of aligning with NOGA, stating that it will empower the company to more effectively support its partners in navigating the dynamic Dutch regulatory framework.

Peter-Paul de Goeij, at the helm of NOGA, extended a warm welcome to ComplianceOne, emphasizing the valuable expertise they contribute to the association’s membership. This collaboration further strengthens NOGA’s standing as a prominent advocate within the Dutch online gambling domain.

At the beginning of the year, the Dutch gambling regulator, known as the KSA, issued a reminder to all stakeholders regarding their continuous monitoring of gaming providers. The KSA’s head, René Jansen, conveyed this message quite directly. In essence, he stated, “Listen, I’ve engaged in numerous conversations with many of you since the implementation of these updated regulations in October 2021, yet the message doesn’t seem to be resonating. Approaching regulation as merely a perfunctory task is unacceptable.”
